About Me

ABOUT ME
Who I Am
I am Carol Nakabugo, a Ugandan activist, writer, and relentless advocate for the rights of women, children, and minorities. My journey into activism began with a simple yet powerful realization: silence in the face of injustice is not an option.
Growing up in Uganda, I witnessed the systemic barriers that women and girls face—barriers that limit their access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. I saw children robbed of their childhoods due to poverty, abuse, and exploitation. And I observed the struggles of minority communities, often excluded from decision-making processes and denied their basic rights.
These experiences ignited a fire within me—a determination to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves.
I BELIEVE THE WORLD IS ENOUGH FOR ALL US TO SHARE
My Mission
My mission is to create a world where:
Women and girls are free to pursue their dreams without fear of discrimination or violence.
Children are protected, nurtured, and given the tools to build a brighter future.
Minority communities are included, respected, and empowered to thrive.
Through my work with VOGAfrica, I lead initiatives that address these issues head-on. From grassroots campaigns to policy advocacy, we are making strides toward a more just and equitable society.
Why I Do This
I do this because I believe in the power of collective action. I do this because every child deserves a chance to dream, every woman deserves a chance to lead, and every minority deserves a chance to be heard.
This is not just my work—it’s my calling. And I invite you to join me in this journey.
I'm a relentless advocate for the rights of women, children, and minorities. ..
